Thank you -- Your request for an RPZ certification has been submitted
The cost of the RPZ valve certification is $55.00. This does not include
any filing fees if any. If your village requires your rpz valve certification to be filed with BSI, Aqua Backflow, or
CCRA you will be charged a filing fee of $15-17 in addition to the $55.00 for the test. Your RPZ valve will be
tested in the next 10 business days after we receive payment. You do
not have to be home for the rpz valve certification. It is done from the outside of the house. Your RPZ valve must be
hooked up and the water must be turned on to the system from inside for us to test the valve. If this has not been done
yet, please notify us immediately. If you need to shut off your water to the system for any reason, please turn
the water off outside by the rpz and leave the water on to the system from inside. If your RPZ
valve is leaking, dripping, or cracked please let us know before having the RPZ tested so that a service call can be set up
for repairs.
The following would result in a failed test: - The water is off to the system from inside
- The
RPZ valve is not hooked up
- The RPZ valve is cracked (In this case
the RPZ valve would most likely need to be replaced. Please call the office if your RPZ valve is cracked before having
us come out to do the RPZ valve certification)
- The RPZ valve is dripping
or leaking, but is not cracked (In this case the RPZ valve can most likely be cleaned and/or repaired
for an additional charge. Please call us to schedule an appointment for repairs to your rpz valve before having us come
out to test the valve)
If your RPZ valve fails the test,
the re-inspection fee is $40.00.
